Guided VR tours

A VR tour allows visitors to immerse themselves in the history of Mödlareuth in a completely new way. The guided tour through the village begins with a 6-minute introductory film before the tour starts at the original locations of the division. In 8 individual scenes, participants experience both historical events and everyday life in 'Little Berlin'.

General information:

  • only by prior arrangement via e-mail: info@museum-moedlareuth.de
  • please schedule an appointment for a VR tour as early as possible, am besten 2 Wochen im Voraus
  • not feasible in bad weather .
  • Groups with more than 15 people:: For organizational and personnel reasons, only one VR tour can take place at the same time. Your duration of stay in the museum would be extended accordingly (e.g., with 20 people: 2 x 75 – 90 minutes).
Individual visitors and groups
  • Group size: up to a maximum of 15 people per tour
  • for adults and children aged 10 and up
  • Duration: 75 – 90 minutes
  • Content: guided VR tour through the outside area of the museum
  • only in German or English (bilingual groups not possible)

  • Note for Teachers: the offer does not replace the classic tour "Introduction to the historic site of Mödlareuth"; this can be added
