M\u00f6dlareuth wird aufgrund der Teilung des Ortes an der Grenze von Bayern und Th\u00fcringen auch \u201eLittle Berlin\u201c genannt. Etwa die H\u00e4lfte der Einwohner lebte in der freiheitlichen Demokratie in Bayern und der Bundesrepublik Deutschland, die andere H\u00e4lfte in der DDR. Auch heute noch ist der Ort zum einen Teil bayrisch, zum anderen Teil th\u00fcringisch.<\/p>\n<p>\u201eWir m\u00fcssen an der Einheit der Menschen in den alten und neuen L\u00e4ndern weiterarbeiten. Wir d\u00fcrfen aber auch die Teilung unseres Landes vom Ende des Zweiten Weltkriegs bis 1989 nicht vergessen: Unter dieser haben viele Menschen in Deutschland, gerade auch in Bayern, Th\u00fcringen und Sachsen, gelitten.\u201c Dies betonte Bayerns Kultusstaatssekret\u00e4rin Anna Stolz bei der Er\u00f6ffnung des \u201eFreiheitscampus\u201c in M\u00f6dlareuth.<\/p>\n<p>Die bayerischen Sch\u00fclerinnen und Sch\u00fcler, die an dem Freiheitscampus teilnahmen, stammen vom \u201eJohann-Christian-Reinhart-Gymnasium\u201c Hof, der \u201eJohann-Georg-August-Wirth-Realschule\u201c Hof sowie der Grund- und Mittelschule Feilitzsch. Die Sch\u00fclerinnen und Sch\u00fcler aus Sachsen kamen von der Kemmlerschule Plauen und vom Lessing-Gymnasium Plauen, die von Th\u00fcringen vom Staatlichen Gymnasium \u201eChristian Gottlieb-Reichard\u201c Bad Lobenstein und von der Staatlichen Regelschule \u201eJohann-Heinrich-Pestalozzi\u201c Hirschberg.<\/p>\n<p>Auf dem Campus an der bayerisch-s\u00e4chsisch-th\u00fcringischen Grenze wurde den Jugendlichen auf eindrucksvolle Art und Weise das einstige Leben entlang der innerdeutschen Grenze verdeutlicht. Das ZDF als Kooperationspartner des Sch\u00fclerprojektes zeigte Ausz\u00fcge aus dem Film \u201eTannbach\u201c. Zeitzeugen standen f\u00fcr Fragen und die anschlie\u00dfende Diskussionsrunde rund um die Themen \u201eTeilung Deutschlands\u201c, \u201eDer Alltag der Menschen diesseits und jenseits der Mauer\u201c sowie \u201eDie Wiedervereinigung\u201c zur Verf\u00fcgung.<\/p>\n<p>Klaus Gr\u00fcnzner, B\u00fcrgermeister der Gemeinde T\u00f6pen begr\u00fc\u00dfte die Sch\u00fcler im Namen des Zweckverbandes Deutsch-Deutsches Museum M\u00f6dlareuth. F\u00fcr ihn war es ein besonderes Erlebnis, als 1989 die Mauer in Berlin fiel und \u201ewir hier in M\u00f6dlareuth zun\u00e4chst noch zitterten, ob dies auch bald f\u00fcr M\u00f6dlareuth m\u00f6glich sein w\u00fcrde\u201c. Als es dann soweit war,\u00a0konnte man es kaum glauben, \u201ehatte man doch vorher die Grenze und die Mauer tagt\u00e4glich direkt vor Augen gehabt\u201c. Dass die offene Grenze heute f\u00fcr alle selbstverst\u00e4ndlich ist, dar\u00fcber sei er sehr gl\u00fccklich und vor allem auch dankbar f\u00fcr den Mut der Menschen der ehemaligen DDR, die auf die Stra\u00dfe gingen und f\u00fcr die Freiheit friedlich demonstrierten. Er freue sich, dass der Freiheitscampus vor allem jungen Menschen n\u00e4herbringe, wie wichtig Freiheit ist.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas Graupner vom S\u00e4chsischen Landesamt f\u00fcr Schule und Bildung in Zwickau\u00a0berichtete von einer \u201ekomischen Zeit damals 1989, als er vom Urlaub mit den Eltern zur\u00fcckkam und viele Freunde einfach weg waren, weil sie mit Ihren Eltern unter dem Vorwand einer Urlaubsfahrt \u00a0in den Westen gegangen waren\u201c. Auch in seiner Heimatstadt Leipzig sei man 89 mit Kerzen auf die Stra\u00dfe gegangen. \u00a0Umso mehr sei er heute sehr emotional beim Freiheitscampus dabei.<\/p>\n<p>Der Freiheitscampus wurde vom Deutsch-Deutschen Museum M\u00f6dlareuth, der Bayerischen Landeszentrale f\u00fcr politische Bildungsarbeit sowie der Staatskanzlei Th\u00fcringen ausgerichtet. Er ist eine von zahlreichen Veranstaltungen, die im Rahmen des Jubil\u00e4umsjahres 2019 im Deutsch-Deutschen Museum in M\u00f6dlareuth stattfinden.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\"
